Pro Bono/Social Responsibility
Welcome to this space where I share my experiences with pro bono work. For the past decade, I've had the privilege of offering free legal advice and support to individuals who cannot afford it. It has been an incredibly rewarding journey.
One of the most fulfilling roles I've had was leading the world's oldest free legal advice service at Toynbee Hall. This service was recognised and nominated for awards on numerous occasions; in 2020, we were honoured to receive an award in partnership with a city law firm for our efforts in increasing access to justice for vulnerable women. The following year, the service was highly commended for creating essential interactive public legal education resources.
In 2019, I was humbled to be named a finalist for an individual award, recognising my dedication to pro bono work. This acknowledgement encouraged me to persist in my mission of improving access to justice. You can read about the nomination here
Currently, I am fortunate to continue providing pro bono assistance. Additionally, I find immense satisfaction in mentoring aspiring young law professionals, helping them navigate their own paths in the legal field.
Feel free to explore this space and learn more about my current commitments to increasing access to justice.
